The reason a trailer can fit vessels between 4.7 and 5.3 metres is that the bow post is adjustable forwards and backwards, and accommodates for approximately 30cm of variance between lengths.
We recommend our clients to obtain our fitting service, where we adjust the tow ball weight, axles, rollers & valve posts to perfectly fit the boat. This service is described further on our general boat trailers page.
We engineer 5m boat trailers in varying compositions. We use marine-grade Aluminium & Galvanised Steel sourced from NSW steel mills.
