Michael Stewart, CEO & Managing Director

Michael joined the FELK team in February 2017 as General Manager and as of March 2023 is Felk Engineering’s appointed CEO and Managing Director. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Deakin University, where he majored in Management and Commercial Law. Michael is also an accredited Justice of the Peace in the state of NSW. For more than 10 years Michael was a national award-winning Business Manager in the automotive industry. He brings to FELK Engineering a wealth of market leading knowledge, industry experience, and exceptional customer service skills.
Caleb Felk, Director
ENGINEER
Caleb represents the 3rd generation involved in FELK Engineering, and he joined the FELK team in 2003. He has been mentored by his grandfather Ted Felk, (who founded the business in his Newcastle backyard garage in 1969), and his father Shane Felk, both engineers and product developers. Caleb is a highly experienced Operations Manager with a Diploma of Engineering- Advance Trade (Fabrication). He is also a certified RMS Proprietor/ Examiner of Light Vehicles.
Vaughan Felk, Design and Product Manager
ENGINEER
Vaughan is another 3rd generation Felk, who joined the team in 2009. Vaughan has a Diploma of Engineering- Advance Trade (Fabrication) and is experienced with SolidWorks (CAD) programs. Vaughan has a sharp eye for detail and is behind most of our custom fabrications. Vaughan looks forward to turning your ideas and sketches into reality as our Design and Product Manager.
Rhys Felk, Service Manager
B(ConstMgt) (Hons)
Rhys, another 3rd generation Felk, rejoined FELK Engineering in 2019 after a 7-year hiatus spent attaining a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) from the University of Newcastle and then starting his own IT business. Rhys has also worked in the automotive industry. Rhys brings exceptional management, customer service and problem-solving skills to his role as Service Manager, leading a team of experienced technicians. Rhys is also a certified RMS Proprietor/ Examiner of Light Vehicles.
